Our approach brings together experts in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to create a collaborative environment where our clients and their families can thrive.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician to coach, train, mentor, and support BT & RBT's in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The RBT Coach will provide supervision, feedback, direct therapy and professional development opportunities to ensure best practices in behavior intervention strategies and client care.
Work Schedule:
- Clinic ABA hours: Monday – Friday, 7am - 6pm
- No weekends
- All clinic-based care
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor RBTs in ABA principles, behavior intervention techniques, and data collection procedures.
- Conduct competency assessments and provide ongoing supervision as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Observe RBTs during sessions to provide real-time feedback and ensure treatment fidelity.
- Support RBTs in understanding and following individualized treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve client outcomes and RBT performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training sessions, evaluations.
- Stay up to date with ABA industry standards, BACB regulations, and best practices.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and other team members to ensure high-quality client care.
- Provide direct therapy as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification with ABA experience.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Empathy and compassion for children, particularly those with developmental delays.
- High energy level and physical ability to engage in activities such as running, sitting, standing, twirling, dancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds for over 50% of the workday.
