Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will perform screenings and observations of patients, create individualized treatment plans, and supervise occupational therapy interns and assistants in accordance with university, professional, and licensure standards.

Compensation:
$75,000 - $86,000 based on skills, certification, and experience
Bilingual pay differential available for qualified candidates

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time: Balanced 4-day work week, 10-hour shifts, 1-hour lunch break
  • Clinic-based environment
  • No travel required
  • No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess fine and gross motor skills, as well as developmental skills (e.g., perceptual-motor coordination, visual motor coordination, sensory development) to determine deficits and develop recommendations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Assess and evaluate patients
  • Coach, lead, and mentor supervisees
  • Conduct yearly performance evaluations in collaboration with the team lead
  • Promote a professional working environment
  • Support compliance programs within your role

Qualifications:

  • Current license with the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program with a minimum of a BS or BA
  • Valid and current driver’s license
  • Level One IVP Fingerprint card (or eligibility to apply)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • High energy level and physical ability to engage in activities such as running, sitting, standing, twirling, dancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds for over 75% of the workday
