Position Overview:
The ABA Clinic Assistant is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient scheduling adjustments due to client cancellations and staff call-outs, and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through coaching and professional development. This role also includes facilities management, in-person IT setup and troubleshooting, inventory management, and providing session coverage as needed.
Work Schedule:
- Mon. - Fri. 6:30am – 3:30pm (1 hour lunch)
- Center hours: Mon.-Fri. 7am-6pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Staff Coordination
- Manage and update the daily clinic schedule, ensuring coverage for client cancellations and staff call-outs.
- Adjust schedules for staff PTO requests, training sessions, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team and leadership to optimize therapist availability and minimize disruptions.
- RBT Support & Professional Development
- Assist with coaching and training RBTs to improve clinical skills and adherence to treatment plans.
- Support professional development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions and providing guidance to RBTs.
- Facilities & IT Support
- Oversee clinic facilities to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Handle in-person IT setup and troubleshooting for clinical operations, including software, devices, and connectivity issues.
- Inventory & Resource Management
Maintain and track clinic inventory, including therapy materials, office supplies, to ensure timely ordering and restocking of essential items.
Session Coverage & Operational Support
Provide direct support in therapy sessions when coverage is needed.
Assist in implementing clinic policies and operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
Support administrative and operational needs as directed by clinic leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be available to travel between Phoenix & Scottsdale centers.
- RBT experience in an ABA center.
- Ability to provide coaching and support to RBTs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adjust schedules dynamically.
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and best practices in clinical settings.
