As a clinician-run organization, we unite experts in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to create a collaborative and effective environment for our clients and their families. 

Position Overview:   

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of HR best practices to support the company’s goals and employees effectively. 

Compensation:  

  • $24.00-$26.00 hourly (30hrs weekly) 

Work Schedule:   

  • Monday – Friday (in center – 9:00am-3:30pm) 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Employee Engagement and Retention: 
    • Plan and coordinate employee events, celebrations, and wellness initiatives. 
    • Manage employee feedback surveys, analyze results, and report insights to leadership. 
    • Support employee retention efforts, including stay interviews, recognition programs, and career development resources. 
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:  
    • Assist with BT recruiting, including initial phone screenings, and scheduling of on-site interviews. 
    • Facilitate employee onboarding, addressing questions and concerns, and creating Inspire Horizons-specific materials. 
  • Employee Relations:  
    • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a positive workplace culture while addressing grievances and conflicts. 
    • Support performance evaluation processes, provide feedback mechanisms, and assist in professional development initiatives. 
    • Provide administrative support in disciplinary actions, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking follow-up actions. 
  • HR Policies & Compliance:  
    • Revise and support in dissemination of HR documents (e.g., handbooks, safety manuals, and anti-harassment posters). 
    • Manage and organize employee files and documentation (e.g., doctor’s notes, funeral notices, policy acknowledgments) to ensure compliance. 
    • Must have an understanding of HIPPA, and employee data retention. 
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping HR policies up to date. 
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:  
    • Assist in payroll and timekeeping processes, including timecard adjustments, audits, error checks, and communication with Finance. 
    • Conduct bi-weekly audits of benefits systems (e.g., Cigna, Principal, Health Equity, Human Interest) and employee records. 
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:  

    • Maintain accurate HR records, track employee data, and generate reports as needed. 
    • Update and monitor HR dashboards to ensure accurate, real-time data is available. 
    • Must be able to articulate and understand the information. 
  • General Administrative Support: 

    • Answer and route HR-related inquiries to appropriate team members.


Requirements: 

  • Strong Business Acumen 
  • Base understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, and benefits administration. 
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll systems 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels. 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field 
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience. 
  • SHRM or other HR certification.
